Every Egg Type and How to Get It - Grow a Chicken Fighter Wiki
From the Nest Egg to the Blazing Egg, here is every egg in the game, who lays it, and what hatches out of it.
Overview
Eggs are the core loop: every chicken lays one or more egg types, and each egg hatches into a pool of chickens that lay new eggs. This guide lists every egg, where it comes from, and what is inside it. Pair it with the best egg guide and the open eggs walkthrough for the full picture.
Video: How to Get All Eggs
This video walks through how to obtain every egg in the game, from the starting Nest Egg all the way to the event-exclusive Blazing Egg. It follows the same progression the egg tree shows, so it is a handy visual companion while you farm. Watch it before you plan your route through the attack progression guide.
Timestamps cover the Scratch Egg hub, the Thunder and Circuit branches, and the secret egg routes. The creator also explains which chickens lay each egg, which matters because lay percentages decide how fast you can build a chain. Our chicken list records the same data in a sortable table.
Complete Egg Table

How Egg Laying Works
Chickens do most of the work: each one has egg-laying traits that decide which egg it produces and how often. Timers vary widely, from the NPC Chick that drops a Cursed Egg every one minute and forty-five seconds to the Golden Goose that lays a Fortune Egg about every six minutes. Petting lowers the next timer by ten seconds.
The egg tree in the game menu shows exactly which chickens come from each egg, and the egg index lists every pool and rarity. Use both before spending, because a high-roll egg like the Fortune Egg only appears through specific branches. For the fastest farming loop, read the money guide.
Four Key Egg Families
These four families cover the bulk of the egg game. The starting route is where every run begins, while the Thunder and Fortune branches hold the highest rarity content. The secret routes are the endgame goal for collectors chasing the two secret chickens and the two cosmics. See the secret chickens page for details.
Starting eggs
Nest Egg and Scratch Egg form the opening route, and Scratch is the hub that branches into nearly every other egg.
Thunder route
Thunder Egg holds the Divine Aurora Hen and the Celestial Prism Rooster, the strongest pulls in the game.
Fortune branch
Fortune Eggs contain the best rarity content in the game, including the Secret Golden Goose.
Secret routes
Cursed and Haunt Eggs hide the second secret chicken and the cosmic pool.
How to Get Eggs
Getting eggs is mostly about letting your coop produce, but there are shortcuts. Codes hand out a free Thunder Egg and a free Blazing Egg, and the shop sells an instant batch of one hundred eggs with the same odds as natural lays. For the deeper loop, the feeder guide explains how to turn common hatches into progress.
Hatch your Nest Egg
Start with the WELCOME code or your starter chicken, then hatch to reach chickens that lay Scratch Eggs.
Branch from Scratch Egg
Farm Scratch Eggs and hatch until you unlock the Thunder, Arena, Circuit, and Cursed routes.
Redeem codes
Codes like LETMECOOK and 40KCCU grant a free Thunder Egg and a free Blazing Egg.
Buy instant eggs
In the shop you can buy 100 eggs at once, which skips waiting for your coop to fill up.
Codes That Grant Eggs
Active codes as of August 2026 include WELCOME, SERGIOVERSE, LETMECOOK, and 40KCCU, each granting a specific egg plus small boosts. These come from third-party code trackers, so treat them as current until tested. Redeeming them early saves a surprising amount of waiting. More rewards appear on the codes page.
- WELCOME — grants one Nest Egg and fifty money
- SERGIOVERSE — grants one Scratch Egg, fifty money, and a 2x boost
- LETMECOOK — grants one Thunder Egg, fifty money, and a 2x Money boost
- 40KCCU — grants one Blazing Egg
