S-Tier: The Meta-Definers

Thunder Strike is widely considered the best skill in the game thanks to massive single-target damage on a short 8-second cooldown, and it is the top pick for boss floors. Skill Categories

Skills fall into three categories: Active Attacks, Passive Buffs, and Utility abilities, and each chicken equips a limited set. Because skills are not swappable during Tower runs, you must configure your loadout before entering combat, or you will be stuck for the whole climb. Our skills guide breaks down each category.

Skills are also tied to the egg type, rarity, and level of the chicken that carries them. Leveling up can unlock new abilities, and fusion can create chickens with better skill pools, but you cannot freely reassign a skill once it is learned. A-Tier and B-Tier Skills

A-tier skills are strong but not meta-defining. Cosmo Beam deals 300 to 700 damage on a 10-second cooldown and comes from Dunder Eggs, and a level 40 Cosmo Beam can beat a level 15 Thunder Strike, so level is often more important than tier. Quick Peck is a fast 200 to 450 damage attack with a 5-second cooldown from common or rare eggs, while Fury Clucks adds a permanent 25% attack bonus from Legendary eggs. Iron Plating rounds out the tier as a defensive buff on a 15-second cooldown. Pair it with the skills guide to plan your passive stack.

B-tier skills are situational. Scrap Toss and Egg Bomb are modest damage options, Feather Guard is a defensive buff, and Speed Boost grants 30% speed for 25 seconds. Use them as stopgaps while you hunt better eggs in the best egg guide.

Skill Rarity, Egg Sources and Level Caps

Skill rarity controls your upgrade ceiling. Common skills from Basic or Starter Eggs cap at level 10, Rare skills from Dunder Eggs cap at 20, Legendary skills from Thunder and XL Eggs reach 35, and Mythical skills from Void Eggs reach 50. S-tier skills scale exponentially with level, so a level 30 Thunder Strike deals significantly more than double a level 15 one. Build a Floor 20+ Loadout

The recommended build for Tower floor 20 and beyond is Thunder Strike for damage, Golden Shield for defense, and Regen Aura for healing, per our best skill guide. Corn is the primary skill-upgrade resource, generated passively at about five per second plus Tower clear rewards.
